United Way of Sarnia-Lambton November 30, 2021

With 32 days remaining in 2021, the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton campaign has surpassed the one- million-dollar mark. The campaign has raised $1,010,000 of the $1,750,000 goal.

“While we are grateful that our community has come together for the campaign this year, the reality is that we are far short of where we need to be,” said Vicky Ducharme, Campaign Chair. “United Way funds over 40 local programs that rely on every dollar they receive. We need to raise the remaining $740,000 before the end of year and we can’t do it without everyone pitching in.”

“We do know that there are companies in Sarnia-Lambton that have their workplace campaigns underway, and we encourage those employees to make the decision to support United Way,” said Ducharme.

United Way officially closes the books on the 2021 fundraising campaign on December 31. United Way of Sarnia-Lambton provides critical service funding to agencies to assist with mental health, those in poverty, as well as youth and seniors.
