Interested in Donating Appreciated Equities?

More and more of our supporters are donating stocks and other appreciated equities. There are some very attractive tax advantages in donating appreciated equities to the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton. The stock transfer is easy.

Please note: To take advantage of the tax deductions and avoid paying capital gains tax, the stocks must be transferred to the United Way and NOT SOLD. If you have questions, please call Dave at 519 336-5452 at the United Way, or your trusted tax professional. Please use this form to donate stocks, bonds, or mutual funds. Thank you.
